Questions

Yes. There are no plans, credits, daily or monthly limits and no watermark. Images are processed in small automatic batches, so 300 or 10,000+ images work the same way – the only limit is your own hosting speed.

No. Compression and replacement happen on your hosting server. While you work, CheckMyCTC only keeps file names, sizes and results, and deletes them automatically 60 minutes after your last activity. Previews are small thumbnails loaded directly from your website through short-lived signed links.

No account, no email, no images. The website connection, file list and history are deleted 60 minutes after your last activity (never in the middle of a running job), or immediately when you click Delete now. After that, the connector file on your website stops working - simply delete it.

No. Every image keeps its exact name, extension and folder, so your pages, CSS and SEO keep working. Images are not resized unless you turn on the optional resize feature.

In Safe Mode (the default) the original of every compressed image is kept in a private folder on YOUR server, outside your public website when possible. Restore single images or all of them from the dashboard. Even after CheckMyCTC has deleted its data, just connect the website again: the backups are found and can be restored.

It only accepts HTTPS requests signed with a secret that is unique to your website, rejects replayed or expired requests, is rate limited, never follows symbolic links and can only touch the folders you authorized. Delete the file at any time to disconnect completely.

Processing is driven by your open dashboard tab. If you close it, the job simply pauses where it stopped and continues from the same image when you open the dashboard again – nothing is lost or processed twice.
